Kalamazoo Model 1

Can someone tell why or the difference between the 2 inputs on this amp. Mine seems to be a little hotter in input 1 as opposed to input 2. When I look online all I fine is "2 inputs, 1 channel" which being non technical in this area means nothing to me.

"2 inputs one channel". I wonder they are the same. Maybe it was designed so you could plug two guitars into it. Two inputs into the exact same channel.

Both inputs feed the same channel--you will find a slight drop in volume for both inputs when both are used.

Is there any reason to use one input over the other?

I know this is an old post but I have that amp an if I remember correctly input one is a lot hotter than input 2. I can dial in a better sound with the softer channel.

The designers might have been thinking one input for guitar, the other for the vocal mic, and thought the difference in output important.
