Title: Sean Costello
Post by: Beelzebob on December 21, 2015, 10:04:41 PM
Anyone heard of this guy?  I just heard him today, don't know how I missed him.  He OD'd in 2008 at age 29.  It took me a little while to get used to his singing but I loved the guitar from note one.

Great guitar playing. A mix of Albert King, BB, SRV and a pinch of jazz sneaking in here and there.

*Looks like possibly a real 1955 Goldtop Les Paul, too.

I have but I don't remember exactly how I stumbled across him.  He had some kind of mental disorder that his family supported in his memory.  I think that was it.

Here's another clip, but you gotta check the harp playing on this one, by Thomas Troussier.

That is some sweet harp playing. Guitar is so solid and I like what he does vocally - talk about grit!! Man for a jam session, that is some performance!!

He was great. He played on at least one Susan Tedeschi album too.
