Harmonica Jam 23 Winners February 2013
« on: February 10, 2013, 11:07:50 PM »
The statistics for the last jam are in!

In the "Most Songs that Went Gold" category, Floppy Lips,  Frosty, and Windsaver continue to joust for position.  They are each in the top 3, and were in the top 3 last time, just in a different order.   This time Floppy Lips was number One with 29 Gold Songs.  He has been in the number one spot 3 times in the past, so he has been Number One 4 Times!

But Frosty and Windsaver are both tough competition. Windsaver was number 1 the time before.  Frosy has never been number 1, but he has been in the 2nd to 6 postion 7 times in the past.

The Best Song as Judged by Peers was played by Steamrollin Stan,
"Kingston Mines Shuffle" with 118 votes.  Way to go Stan!   Awesome!  Stan plays the harmonica to keep himself out of trouble.  It looks like it is paying off because he is not in jail, and he has the best song as judged by his peers!

When we look at the Most Popular Backing Tracks, BeelzeBob dominates.

1st Place "A Minor blues " by BeelzeBob, was used 13 times
2nd Place "Aint No Use" , by BeelzeBob, was used 11 times
3nd Place "Any Little Thing You Do" by BeelzeBob, used 10 times
3rd Place "Organized Blues" by BeelzeBob, used 10 times

Wow!   And he dominated the last jam too!   We all owe BeelzeBob our gratitude and appreciation.   I think we all owe him a beer!

All the past and present statistics can be found in the Harmonica Boogie help page. http://jamq.org/jamqueue/harmonica/hbmainstage/jamfaq.php#PreviousWinners

And that's it!  Let the games begin!
