PowerBender Tuning
« on: February 27, 2014, 04:26:59 PM »
I had never heard of this until Frostys latest post. I ended up doing a little research and it looks fascinating. Here's a link to Brendan Powers explaining it in detail.

Has anyone else had experience with it? If so what's your opinion?

Go to Brendan-power.com and you'll see all his custom tunings and radical harmonicas.  He's a pucker player and doesn't overblow, but he is virtuosic.

It's funny I've seen many videos of his but I guess I was just naive to him using a custom tuning.  That second link is a video of him debuting the Seydel harmonicas they now offer in the power bender tuning.

Go to YouTube and search for Bob Gatzen videos.  He is a drum tuning guru and should be able to help you with your dilemma.
